In order to find academic success and to maintain a healthy mindset, we approach our students from a holistic perspective and this involves providing supports for them social and emotionally.  This could include issues between peers or personal situations.  Below are some resources to help you support your student from home.

Available Resources

Mental Health Counseling Clinton County

There are a variety of places that are available in Clinton County for mental health counseling.  Clinical Mental Health will provide services for those covered by state insurance, private practice is also available for those with private insurance.  NOTE: you can always call your insurance provider by using the member service number on the back of your card to get a list of places they would recommend and cover.

Meditations

One thing we have found extremely helpful to assist with sleep problems and depressive thoughts is to utilize guided meditations.  The intern, Ms. Winsor has put together a playlist of Youtube videos ranging in length from short 5-minute meditations to longer 15-minute ones on a variety of topics.
